Alexis & Tyler met because of a fishing tournament, so it’s only fitting we throw one! Celebrate Alexis’s birthday with a day of fishing in one of the fishing capitals of the world, followed by the tournament weigh-in at the famous Marina Pez Vela in Quepos.

Pitstop Between SJO Airport and Manuel Antonio Drive
Make a quick stop at the famous bridge over the Tárcoles River to look down at massive, wild American crocodiles basking on the riverbanks and swimming below. It’s completely free and one of the easiest places in Costa Rica to see large crocodiles in the wild.

Venture into a community-run rainforest reserve with jungle hiking trails, two hanging bridges, multiple waterfalls and natural swimming pools. We recommend staying in Manuel Antonio, close to the wedding festivities. Hotel La Mariposa is our wedding venue and a great option. Please note down that you are a part of the wedding at booking. Reach out if you need help finding the perfect place to stay!
GETTING HERE
Ideally you want to fly into San José (SJO), and then Manuel Antonio is about a 3 to 3.5 hour drive from SJO or a short puddle jumper flight into Quepos (XQP) near by the venue. Please send Alexis or Tyler your flight information after you book.
RENT A CAR
Guests receive 30% off with Vamos Car Rental, just provide Alexis or Tyler with your booking number, and your discount will be applied when you pay at pickup.
NEED GROUP TRANSPORTATION?
Submit your flight information by November 15 so we can coordinate shuttles.
